How Day Service Works
Step 1: Referral & Assessment
We’ll arrange an assessment to understand your current needs and whether the Day Service is the best fit.
Step 2: Starting the Programme
You’ll work with a designated key worker throughout. Together, you’ll review your progress every six weeks and decide what support is needed next.
Step 3: Daily Structure
Each week begins with arrival and a physical health check, followed by group sessions, shared meals, and reflection time. There’s no fixed end date – support continues as long as it’s clinically appropriate and helpful for your recovery.
Benefits of Day Service
- A consistent, structured routine
- Support from therapists, dietitians, and peers
- Confidence in managing real-world situations
- Space to rediscover independence and self-trust
Common Questions
What if I can’t attend due to work or study?
We can provide letters for employers or universities to explain the importance of attendance. Regular participation is essential to recovery, but we’ll do our best to help you manage it.
What if I can't gain weight?
You’ll receive a meal plan and food during attendance days, but it’s important to continue challenging yourself outside of sessions. If progress is limited, we’ll discuss whether more intensive support is needed.
What if I'm vegitarian, vegan or have allergies?
Vegetarian diets can be accommodated where appropriate. Veganism and allergies are reviewed as part of your treatment plan to ensure safety and recovery progress.
